Sorry, pal. I was responding to JoelSixPack and in his post he did indeed say he doesn't like the Freemium model as well! And when it comes to the fight to eliminate that, I s'pose I am at the front line and you're 'postcard' is in the mail, as well as the notice that more and more gamers are not going for those games that use it regardless of what you say/think! They would rather buy their games outright instead of being nickle and dimed constantly in order to keep playing or to proceed farther in the game! See, this only benefits the dev, not the gamer. And the customer is always right. There IS a movement here where lots more gamers are just saying 'NO' to buying into this! And, after awhile, devs will see their game sales dwindle and they'll eventually go back to the way it was before because that's what the customer WANTS! To just buy the game! As time goes by, we shall see what happens, how this goes, won't we? The only IAP that's worthy is where you have the OPTION to purchase IAP to get further in a game, add content, etc., but don't HAVE to 'cause you can do the same thing in-game, earning it by playing it. Just sayin'! Oh, hey, by the way, the TA app is something I think you'll dig! It's very well done, fun, and helpful!

Agreed!! I remember buying the game from a garage sale, but I never had anyone to play it with. I cannot wait to pick this up. Hopefully it will have a decent AI.

About the Mojang thing, that was Zenimax protecting themselves because Mojang wanted to trademark "Scrolls", which in turn could make Mojang able to sue Zenimax for "The Elder Scrolls" (there has been similar cases, so it's very understandable Zenimax had to do this) . This could be something similar.

They say the previous two because those are the only two versions which had this style of card play format (no wandering around with a character) also this game has no deck creation like dotp of 1988 :)

There are PC and Mac demos, and the full versions of them have been featured in several indie game bundles over the past few years. I don't think the developers necessarily have to make an iOS demo version, it's easy enough to get information about this nice little game. It's still a good deal and we'd do well to stop complaining about prices. Ten dollars is not a lot of money for a game like this.

No. The expansions are planned for later as 'expansions'. It already costs one third the price if the original. BTW... even post patch, don't plan on playing on an ipad1.

Sonic had better be 60fps this time. Episode 1 was barely 30fps, which is a total deal breaker for a 2D sidescroller. If Cave can run at 60fps with the screen full of hundreds of bullets, I'm sure Sega can manage it.

This is by no means a game to miss! This is by far my favorite platforming series that iOS has to offer. I really hope that everyone else feels the same way and the devs will start making iOS games and porting them to other systems instead of the other way around. The dev's already admitted that the iPhone 4S is more capable than the Nintendo Wii. NO FLAME WARS!!! I love my Wii! There is no substitute for Nintendo branded games. With that being said, the Wii is lacking in the performance and HD categories... BIG TIME!!

As a side note, I have no issues with the controls and find them quite intuitive and at home on iOS. My 4S plays the game flawlessly and I could not ask for a better platforming experience on my mobile... or on a console for that matter.

Great job and keep em coming!
This is one of those games that I immediately bought and did not even look at the price.

Judging from trailers and store pages (where up), Sonic 4-2 is the only GIRU game this week (GC, iCloud, Retina, Universal).

Would be cool if they could update/re-release 4-1 with the new engine and features.
